Carolina Beauty Crepe Myrtle is a small growing tree with light red panicle flowers from July to September and the foliage turns orange in the fall, it has an attractive gray - brown bark as it matures. A symmetrical tree in shape with a moderately dense crown. The fruit is persistent and attractive. Carolina Beauty has 3 seasons of interest due to its blooms and fall foliage. A good choice for use as a specimen tree, in the mixed border, or planted in groupings.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
