The Pear Cocktail Tree is a hybrid plant that offers up to 4 different pears in one tree. You'll get a combination of pears that include the most popular varieties. In addition, Pear Cocktail Trees are self-pollinating i.e. They don't need any other pollinators.

The process of "budding" is used to create this unique Plant. The budding process is done entirely by hand-a simple process but not easy!

  • 12-20 ft tall, fully grown. The plant shipped is around 2 ft tall.

  • The plant actually has 4 different Varieties of Pear, However, sometimes you may get 4 varieties of Pears instead of 5 due to Nature & certain external conditions & external factors.  (Yes, it's not uncommon for fruit plants to experience some bud loss due to natural causes such as weather conditions, pests, diseases, or other environmental factors. Losing one or two buds out of five is within the realm of normal variability and may not necessarily indicate a problem with the plant's health). These Plants come with excellent Root System. 
  • The plant will not have any leaves or branches as they have budded recently in winter of last year.

The Fruit cocktail has been budded in the cold months of last year, hence you will not see any shoots or growth on the plant. The plant will almost look dead, without any branches or shoots-when shipped to you! The plant will start showing some growth with the onset of spring.

Pear Cocktail​ tree needs ample sunlight to grow efficiently and perfectly, just as you expected. Therefore, you should use the outdoor garden area without any shade. However, ensure the fruits are well-protected from predators like birds, deer and squirrels.

How do you care for a cocktail tree?

Plant this Pear Cocktail  Tree in full sun with well-drained soil. The soil should not have standing water. Don't overwater( Most homeowners kill the plant by overwatering, as they wrongly assume that more water is good for the plant); Fertilize only from May to September (never fertilize in the colder months)- Also can use slow release fertilizer, something long-lasting like Osmocote.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
