    Description

What is a Fruit Cocktail Tree?
The Fruit Cocktail Tree is a hybrid plant that offers up to 4 fruits in one tree. You'll get a combination of fruits that can include peaches, plums, nectarines and apricots from the most popular varieties. In addition, Fruit Cocktail Trees are self-pollinating i.e. they don't need any other pollinators.

The process of 'budding' is used to create this unique Plant. The budding process is done entirely by hand- a labor intensive and simple process but not easy!
    • FRUIT COCKTAIL TREE - 4 different FRUITS on one plant (COCKTAIL FRUIT TREE) These Plants come with excellent Root System. The plants have been expertly bud grafted by hand.

    • Produces 3 to 4 different kinds of FRUITS on one tree (Yes, it's not uncommon for fruit plants to experience some bud loss due to natural causes such as weather conditions, pests, diseases, or other environmental factors. Losing one or two buds out of five is within the realm of normal variability and may not necessarily indicate a problem with the plant's health). These Plants come with excellent Root System.

The Fruit cocktail has been budded in the cold months of last year, hence you will not see any shoots or growth on the plant. The plant will almost look dead, without any branches or shoots-when shipped to you! The plant will start showing some growth with the onset of spring.

During dormancy, the plant conserves energy and doesn't actively grow or produce new shoots or branches. However, with the arrival of spring and warmer temperatures, the plant will typically come out of dormancy and begin to show signs of growth again, such as new shoots and leaves.

This pattern is typical for many fruit trees and bushes, including those that produce fruit cocktail and like various types of berries and stone fruits. It's important to provide proper care during dormancy to ensure the plant's health and encourage robust growth when spring arrives. This might include appropriate pruning, protecting the plant from harsh weather conditions, and ensuring it receives adequate nutrients and water.

The plants may be shipped in smaller pots/plastic bags for the safety of the plants.

Most plants go dormant in Fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves. Looking dead and dry is VERY NORMAL. They will flush out in spring.

The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping).
