    Plant Care Tips

    🌱 Planting Instructions

Plant your Edgeworthia Chrysantha (Paperbush Plant) in partial shade with moist, well-drained soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball, set the plant level with the ground, and water thoroughly after planting. Add a layer of mulch around the base to help retain moisture and keep the roots cool.

    💧 Water Needs

Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during warm or dry weather. Water once or twice a week, depending on rainfall. Avoid overwatering — Edgeworthia prefers damp but not soggy soil.

    ☀️ Sunlight Requirements

The Paperbush Plant thrives in partial shade to filtered sunlight. Morning sun and afternoon shade provide the best balance for healthy foliage and abundant blooms.

    🌿 Feeding the Plant

Feed your Edgeworthia once in early spring with a balanced fertilizer or organic compost to promote vigorous growth and flowering. Avoid fertilizing in late summer or fall to prevent tender new growth before winter.

    ✂️ Pruning Tips

Prune lightly after flowering to remove spent blooms and shape the shrub. Avoid heavy pruning, as Edgeworthia blooms on old wood. Light trimming keeps the plant compact and encourages future blossoms.

    ❄️ Winter Protection

Hardy in USDA Zones 7–10, Edgeworthia tolerates mild winters but benefits from extra protection in colder regions. Add mulch around the base to insulate roots, and move container-grown plants to a sheltered spot during freezing weather.
