This Plum Cocktail Tree has been budded in the cold months of last year, hence you will not see any shoots or growth on the plant. The plant will almost look dead, without any branches or shoots. The plant will start showing some growth with the onset of spring.

We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). The tree that I received was only about 2 foot tall. I expected at least 3 foot tall for $199.00 that i paid. I have purchased three other fruit trees locally they were only $29.99 to $36.99 and they were three times the size of the plum tree that I’ve received from Pixie’s.The tree came through the mail and it was packed exceptionally. No damage at all to the tree.. I’ve had it about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks and it is just now starting to grow leaves. I am super excited to see what it will do in the future but it is to early to tell.

Got the delivery a few days ago. Box crushed, plant containers crushed broken open. Very sad looking plants, doubt they will do well. Plant trunks very thin almost broken.less than I expected.
