Description
A striking medium sized tree with a pyramidal habit of growth, horizontal branches bear bright silvery blue needles. Best used as a colorful landscape accent, rich blue color year round for added Winter interest. Ornamental Features Electra Blue Deodar Cedar has attractive silvery blue foliage which emerges powder blue in Spring. The needles are highly ornamental and remain silvery blue throughout the Winter. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. Landscape Attributes Electra Blue Deodar Cedar is an evergreen tree with a strong central leader and a distinctive and refined pyramidal form. Its relatively fine texture sets it apart from other landscape plants with less refined foliage. This is a relatively low maintenance tree, and usually looks its best without pruning, although it will tolerate pruning. It has no significant negative characteristics.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
We cannot send ship some plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by department of agriculture.
