 Illicium 'Pink Frost' First Editon- Lovely white & green foliage that highlights the maroon-red spring flowers. Foliage turns a beautiful pink-rose during winter. Perfect for containers

  • Hardiness USDA zones are 7-9
  • This Pink Frost plant can reach up to a maximum of 6 to 10 ft tall AND wide.
  • Maroon-red fowers bloom for 4-6 weeks.The foliage has a pleasant gin and tonic scent.
  • Needs full sun to partial shade. Loves moist, but well-drained soils.
  • Mix in deep maroon star-shaped flowers in the spring for a stunning specimen tree

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
