    Plant Care Tips

    🌱 Planting Instructions

It is best to choose a sunny location with deep, well-drained soil. Plant the tree in a hole twice as wide as the root ball, so the root flare sits slightly above ground level. Planting is done by backfilling gently, firming the soil, and thoroughly watering it.

    💧 Watering Tips

It is important for trees to be watered regularly for the first one or two years to establish deep roots. It is more effective to water pecan trees infrequently and deeply once they are established rather than watering them frequently and shallowly.

    ☀️ Sunlight Requirement

In order to grow strong and produce heavy nuts, the plant needs full sun. It is recommended that you get 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight a day.

    🌸 Fertilizer Tips

The best time to fertilize nut trees in the spring is early in the season. Nitrogen can promote leaf growth rather than nut production if it is applied excessively.

    ✂️ Pruning Guide

It is beneficial to prune lightly during dormancy in order to remove dead or crossing branches. In order to support future structure, maintain a strong central leader while you are young.

    ❄️ Seasonal Care

The roots are protected, and moisture is retained by mulching around the base. In order to prevent rot, do not allow the mulch to contact the trunk directly.
