    Description

Origanum ‘Drops of Jupiter’ – Ornamental Oregano

‘Drops of Jupiter’ features arching stems of soft, silvery-green leaves topped by pendant clusters of rosy-pink bracts that deepen in color as they age. This versatile perennial cascades beautifully over container rims or rock walls, bringing a soft, airy look to mixed plantings.

While closely related to culinary oregano, ‘Drops of Jupiter’ is grown primarily for its ornamental value and long-lasting bracts rather than flavor. It’s heat‑ and drought‑tolerant once established and attracts bees and butterflies to your garden.

    • Cascading habit with silvery-green foliage
    • Pink to rose‑tinted bracts in summer
    • Thrives in full sun to light shade
    • Pollinator‑friendly, attracts bees & butterflies
    • Perfect for containers, hanging baskets, and rockeries
    • ️ Drought‑tolerant and low maintenance

Landscape Tip: Plant at the front of borders or in elevated planters so its trailing stems can spill freely for maximum effect.
