Is semi-evergreen. Dark green, fleshy, scalloped leaves grow in a whorl around stems. John Creech has a neat, compact dense habit making it a good choice for pathways between stones. Blooms pink early Summer. It is dependable and vigorous. 'John Creech' will grow in average, dry soil - even shallow, rocky, sandy soil with good drainage. Prefers average watering and will tolerate drought.
