                    Southern Gentleman Holly
A Bold Pollinator with Year-Round Structure
Southern Gentleman Holly is a hardy male holly cultivar grown primarily as a pollinator for female winterberry hollies like 'Winter Red' or 'Red Sprite'. While it doesn’t produce berries itself, its glossy green foliage and upright form provide excellent structure in the landscape.
This low-maintenance holly is extremely adaptable, thriving in wet soils where many plants struggle. It’s an essential companion plant that ensures heavy berry production on female hollies while also standing out as a handsome shrub in its own right.
