    Plant Care Tips

    Planting:

Locate it in a well-drained location with full sun to partial shade. This low-growing perennial works beautifully along borders, pathways, rock gardens, and slopes. Dig a hole just as wide as the root ball, place the plant at crown level to the soil surface, and water well after planting. Space 12–18 inches apart for a quick groundcover effect.

    Watering:

During the first season, keep the soil consistently moist to help the roots establish. Once mature, Georgia Blue Speedwell is moderately drought-tolerant but benefits from occasional watering during extended dry spells.

    Sunlight:

Thrives in full sun and partial shade. In sunny locations, the plant produces more vibrant blooms, while partial shade helps maintain fresh foliage during hot summers.

    Fertilizer:

Feed in early spring with compost or a balanced slow-release fertilizer to promote strong foliage and abundant flowers. Light summer feeding can encourage continued healthy growth.

    Maintenance:

Trim back spent flower stems after blooming to maintain a tidy shape. Control the spread of clumps by dividing them every few years. This low-maintenance perennial is deer-resistant and attracts pollinators, making it an excellent choice for any landscape.
